STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING DESIGN
Our practice are able to offer a complete structural design service from investigation, feasibility and detailed design stages through to tendering, construction and handover. Our sectors include:

We are experienced in the use of all construction forms and materials including structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, masonry, prestressed concrete. We also have the capability to design all types of foundations including spread footings, piled foundations,raft foundations and basements.
For structural analysis/design we utilise the latest 3D design software.
We work to the latest British Standards and Eurocodes.
BRIDGE ENGINEERING
Our engineers have extensive experience in all forms of bridge design and construction including:

STRUCTURAL SURVEYS
We can carry out detailed, non-intrusive, visual structural inspections of all types of buildings. Structural Inspections may be required for several reasons: a requirement for a mortgage application, or for insurance purposes. We can provide advice for a specific defect, or carry out a full structural inspection of a building and produce a detailed report.

ABOUT OUR DESIGN PRACTICE

Dr Tay started his design practice in 1996 . He is a Chartered Structural and Civil Engineer with a PhD in Concrete Structures from Imperial College London. Our practice has extensive experience in the concept and detailed design and assessment on all types of structures. This encompasses work within a variety of sectors, including Offshore Oil and Gas, Offshore Wind Renewables, Commercial and Residential Property, Power, Port and Nuclear Industries, and Infrastructure sector such as Highways/Roads and Bridges.
The practice has experience in technical training and course design.
